A Legacy of Compassion and Education

Zachariah Patnaik's humble beginnings shaped his belief in education as a transformative force. He understood how education could inspire dreams and ambitions, even amidst poverty, and dedicated his life to ensuring children had the tools to succeed.

He believed that a value-driven education, a meal, and an opportunity could empower children to rise above their circumstances. Seeing himself in the children he served, Mr. Patnaik emphasized hard work and perseverance as keys to success.

For 27 years, he led Howrah Christian School, growing it to over 700 students and turning it into a beacon of hope for underprivileged children. His efforts provided thousands of young minds with the chance to dream and achieve.

Zachariah Patnaik passed away in 2013, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and faith in the potential of every child.
